SRJ Secures BoltEx Contract for Offshore FPSO in Guyana

SRJ Technologies (ASX: SRJ) has secured a new contract for the supply of its flagship BoltEx flange integrity solution, with products to be deployed on a Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessel operated by a leading global provider of offshore energy systems.

The order, secured through global procurement specialist Storm Procurement Limited, is valued at 269,000 US dollars (approximately 410,000 Australian dollars). It represents the first full deployment of SRJ’s BoltEx range on an FPSO operating offshore Guyana.

The FPSO operator, not named in the announcement but described as a major global player with operations across Brazil and West Africa, will use BoltEx to address long-standing challenges with flange corrosion and integrity management. FPSOs are prone to such issues due to harsh offshore conditions, and the BoltEx system offers a cost-effective, safety-enhancing solution.

BoltEx is a mechanical clamp system that restores and maintains flange integrity without the need for hot works, improving operational safety and reducing downtime. This order marks a key commercial milestone for SRJ, as the company looks to expand adoption of its technology across multiple FPSO units in the region.

SRJ Chair George Gourlay welcomed the news, stating: “It is great to see operators taking advantage of SRJ’s unique sales model that empowers our customers to adopt and use BoltEx as their own and be more proactive and effective in their flange management and daily maintenance tasks.”

He added that the company will continue working with the client to support wider adoption of BoltEx across its global FPSO fleet.

The order also reflects SRJ’s flexible commercial approach, with payment structured around an upfront instalment and a balance due on delivery. The product is expected to be used immediately following delivery.

With industry attention focused on operational safety, cost optimisation and asset life extension, SRJ’s BoltEx continues to gain traction as a proven, field-ready solution in the global energy sector. The company is also leveraging advanced robotics, UAV inspection technologies and consulting services to support broader asset integrity management.
